Commonwealth Bank CFO resigns with immediate effect

Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) CFO Rob Jesudason has resigned with immediate effect after less than a year in the job.

The bank has appointed Allan Docherty as acting CFO, he will take up the role today.

He has worked as the CFO of Institutional Banking and Markets since joining CBA in 2003.

CEO Matt Comyn says hes pleased to have someone of Alan’s calibre step in as CFO while the bank conducts and internal and external search for the position.

Shares in the Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA) are trading down 0.26 per cent to $70.35
