AMP (ASX:AMP) has announced the resignation of three non-executive directors from the board.

Vanessa Wallace and Holly Kramer will step down ahead of the AGM.

While Patty Akopiantz, the company’s longest serving director will step down at the end of 2018.

AMP’s CEO Craig Meller and Chairman Catherine Brenner resigned last week.

The mass exodus comes after damning evidence at the Banking Royal Commission of misconduct by the company’s staff.

Shares in AMP (ASX:AMP) are trading 0.12 per cent higher to $4.13.
