Origin’s March Qtr sales and rev down

Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) has announced it’s March quarter sales were down 9 per cent on the December quarter.

Revenue was also down 4 per cent on the previous quarter to $492 million.

Meantime, production for the last 9 months has increased 14 per cent on the same time last year.

Origin says that March quarter revenue was affected by the timing of shipments partially offset by higher commodity prices.

Shares in Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) are trading 0.62 per cent lower to $9.56.
