Blackmores snaps up Catalent plant, New ED

Blackmores (ASX:BKL) has snapped up a Catalent manufacturing facility in Victoria for just over $43 million.

The company says the acquisition will support future growth and product innovation.

Meantime, the company has also announced the appointment of Jackie McArthur as a Non-Executive Director.

Third quarter results for the company saw net sales rise by 8 and a half per cent to $434 million

Net profit also rose up 19 per cent on the same time last year.

Shares in Blackmores (ASX:BKL) closed 0.24 per cent lower to $124.00 yesterday.
