Transurban's Australian daily traffic up 2.7%

Toll road operator, Transurban (ASX:TCL) has announced results for the March 2018 quarter.

During the period average daily traffic (ADT) increased by 2.7 per cent with growth across all Australian markets.

But the company saw a 3.9 per cent drop in average daily traffic for its Washington toll roads.

Its been a busy period for the company with the acquisition of the A25 toll way in Montreal for $840 million.

While back at home work continues on the NorthConnex with the tunnel expected to be integrated with the Hills M2 ahead of schedule in early May.

Shares in Transurban (ASX:TCL) are trading 0.09 per cent higher at $11.19
