UK-based entrepreneur Dale Murray will be a non-executive director bringing an extensive board experience in the private and government sectors in the UK.
She is a proven entrepreneur with experience in software as a service businesses and is an advisor to a portfolio of start-up companies.
She has spent the past 22 years in the UK and has achieved considerable success including co-founding an early-stage SaaS business, Omega Logic, a British mobile telecommunications software company.
She received a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) from Her Majesty the Queen in 2014 for services to business.
Shares in Xero (ASX: XRO) closed up up 0.06 per cent to $34.93.
