QBE announces leadership overhaul

Global insurer QBE (ASX:QBE) has announced an overhaul of its senior leadership team.

Chief financial officer Michael Ford will leave and be replaced by local CFO Inder Singh, while Peter Grewal will leave Swiss Re to become chief risk officer in July.

Interim chief risk officer Liam Buckley will move to head of culture and talent, while Barclays' Matt Mansour will become London-based chief information officer later this year.

Finally acting head of internal audit Anders Land has been given the job on a permanent basis.

The company announced a massive loss for the 2017 financial year following a number of natural disasters, goodwill impairment and a US tax writedown.

Shares in QBE (ASX:QBE) are trading 0.1 per cent higher to $9.57
