Afterpay Touch responds to recent reports

Technology payments company Afterpay Touch (ASX:APT) has responded to recent media speculation about the company’s systems and the founding shareholders commitment to the company.

The modern day lay by company’s advertising slogans have come under press scrutiny lately however it says research indicates customers are using the product responsibly.

The business says it’s committed to responsible customer spending and provides a number of fraud and repayment checks.

Finally the company says founding shareholders Anthony Eisen and Nick Molnar intend to remain on the board long term.

Shares in Afterpay Touch (ASX:APT) are trading 3.17 per cent lower to $5.81
