Contract and charter flight provider Alliance Aviation (ASX:AQZ) has announced the extension of its contract to air charter services to BHP’s Pilbarra mine site until 2019.

The company supplies dedicated scheduled charter flights for BHP'S mine sites.

Alliance CEO Lee Schofield says the extension allows it to continue to provide service flights between Perth and BHP’s two airports.

The business has been providing services to BHP since 2002.

Shares in Alliance (ASX:AQZ) closed 0.88 per cent lower to $1.69 yesterday.
