AMP CEO Craig Meller to retire

AMP (ASX:AMP) has announced CEO Craig Meller will retire at the end of 2018, Mr Meller has been at the helm for the last five years .

The company will commence a search for his replacement.

Chairman Catherine Brenner says she will consider internal and external candidates from both domestic and overseas markets.

The company says Mr Meller has led the transformation of the company over the last five years and that the business has a clear and compelling strategy for growth and is performing well.

Shares in AMP (ASX:AMP) closed down 0.38 per cent to $5.22 on Friday.
