Broken Hill Prospecting
(ASX:BPL) and Cobalt Blue has announced a major strategic partnership with LG International
(ASX:LGI) involving their Thackaringa Cobalt Project Joint Venture.
LG Chem is one of the largest Lithium ion battery makers in the world. They have strong technical leadership in next generation batteries in particular for electric vehicles.
Earlier this week green energy exploration company Cobalt Blue announced a significant resource upgrade at the Thackaringa Project, located near Broken Hill in New South Wales.
Under the new partnership, LGI will provide capital and technical assistance for the TJV to make a high purity battery grade cobalt sulphate.
