Government approve hearing provider Nuheara

The Australian government has approved the registration of hearing health care provider Nuheara.

The company will become an approved supplier to the government’s hearing services program.

In the 2017-2018 Federal Budget – the hearing services program was allocated $539 million. This program represents around 70 per cent of the total market. It’s the one of the largest government funded hearing health care programs in the world.

Over 3 million people in Australia have some form of hearing loss. Eligible Australians will be able to access free and subsidised hearing services.

The company will place their Assisted Listening Device (ALD) IQBuds on the device schedule.
