Nufarm move forward with Century Portfolio acquisition

Nufarm (ASX:NUF) has announced that it has completed the last regulatory approvals for the Adama component of the acquisition of the Century Portfolio of products and assets.

The company hopes the Syn-genta component of the Century portfolio will take place in the next few days.

This portfolio has established brands with over 50 crop protection formulations and more than 260 registrations for use in the European markets.

Nufarm has acquired the portfolio for a cash consideration of $US490 million - plus approximately $US25 million for inventory.

Shares in Nufarm (ASX:NUF) are currently trading up 0.59 per cent to $8.54
