Strandlines discovers mineral sands at Sudi project

Mining company Strandline Resources (ASX:STA) has announced they have discovered significant mineral sands with the first phase of air core drilling at the Sudi project.

The project based in Southern Tanzania forms part of a joint venture area with Rio Tinto.

The company says assays from the first phase of air core drilling also show that the discovery has a high value assemblage, particularly from zircon and titanium.

Under the terms of the joint venture, Rio Tinto is funding the exploration, which is being conducted by Strandline.

Shares in Strandline Resources (ASX:STA) are trading flat at 12 cents.
