RCR Tomlinson announces $93 million contract with BAE Systems

Diversified engineering and infrastructure company RCR Tomlinson (ASX:RCR) has been awarded a $93 million dollar contract with BAE systems Australia.

Under the contract RCR will deliver facility management services for the Australian Defence Force Jindalee Operational Radar Network phase 6 project.

The Jindalee project involves the replacement of most of the radar and frequency management system hardware.

The contract is for a term of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 5.

The company says they are delighted to be working with one of the world’s premier defence companies on the technology project.

Shares in RCR (ASX:RCR) are trading 0.48 per cent lower to $4.13.
