Pooling solutions company Brambles (ASX:BXB) has reported its underlying profit rose about 1 per cent on 1H17 to US$494 US million for the first half of the 2018 financial year.
In more good news for Brambles, its revenue strengthened over the period, and lifted almost 5 per cent compared to the same time last year to $2.7 billion.
Its earnings (EBITDA) increased to $777 million from $733 million in the prior corresponding period.
The company declared an interim dividend of 14.5 cents franked at 30 per cent.
Brambles shares closed 0.5 per cent higher on Friday to $9.63.
