Boral reports rise in profits

Multinational building and construction company Boral Limited (ASX:BLD) has reported its net profit attributable to its members rose thirteen per cent to $173 million dollars.

In more good news for the company total revenue was up twelve per cent to $1.8 billion dollars.

The company’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose twelve per cent to $294 million dollars.

Boral declared an ordinary dividend of twelve and a half cents.

Shares in Boral (ASX:BLD) are trading about 3.23 per cent lower to $7.19.
