Rail company, Aurizon Holdings
(ASX:AZJ) has reported its first half 2018 financial year net profit after tax fell 5 per cent to $282 million (on an underlying basis)
Its revenue fell 3 per cent over the same period, compared to the same time last year, falling to $1.6 billion.
Its earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) fell by 5 per cent on the prior corresponding period, to $485 million.
Meantime and in good news for shareholders, it declared a higher interim dividend of 14 cents per share.
