UK-based oil and gas company Doriemus (ASX:DOR) has completed an operational planning review to begin testing the Horse Hill discovery well near London’s Gatwick International Airport, which is expected to commence in March this year.

Doriemus Executive Chairman David Lenigas says the company spent the last quarter preparing for a busy and active quarter this year.

He says the company expects four of its UK onshore oil wells to come on line this quarter, which includes the Lidsey oil field, Brockham oil field, Isle of Wight, and Horse Hill.

During the quarter, the company completed a review of the Brockham and Lidsey onshore oil field operational plans before production starts at the end of March this year.

Approvals were received from the UK government’s Oil and Gas Authority for Brockham and council approvals went through for the 150-day long-term production test of Horse Hill.

Shares in Doriemus (ASX:DOR) closed 2.38 per cent lower yesterday at $0.21.
