Perth-based coal exploration company East Energy Resources Ltd
(ASX:EER) has resumed drilling at its Blackall Coal Project, after a six week suspension caused by heavy rainfall in Queensland.
The company says the project area has now dried out and field work recommenced on January 12.
East Energy’s managing director Mark Basso says the firm has been fortunate that roads and access networks have not suffered too much from the flooding and that it has resumed its program of drilling seven days a week.
For the year ended 30 June 2010, East Energy reported a net loss of $896,000.
