Portfolio asset manager Westoz Investment Company (ASX:WIC) has reported a return of 16.7 per cent for the December quarter, with all major sectors showing positive returns and resources leading the way.
The company’s overall return for the financial year was 29.3 per cent.
The major contributors to the gain were Beach Energy, up 53 per cent, IMF Bentham, up 46 per cent, and NRW Holdings, up 31 per cent.
Cash holdings increased for the quarter, with assets rising to 24 per cent, up from 16 per cent since the end of September.
The company’s current financial year dividend is 6 cents per share.
Shares in Westoz Investment Company (ASX:WIC) closed 1.26 per cent lower yesterday to $1.18.
