Australian Agricultural Company appoints new MD & CEO

Australian Agricultural Company (ASX:AAC) has announced it has appointed Hugh Killen as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

The appointment will take effect on 1 February 2018

Mr Killen was most recently the Head of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities for Westpac Banking Corporation.

While the business conducted an international and domestic search, Mr Killen’s breadth of financial expertise and background as a pastoralist was cited by Chairman Donald McGauchie as factoring into the board’s decision.

Shares in Australian Agricultural Company (ASX:AAC) were 1.17 per cent up in morning trade at $1.29.
