Spark trials portable wireless broadband

Spark New Zealand (ASX:SPK) customers will now be able use their home broadband while they are on holidays via a trial.

Over the summer 100 customers will get to trial the portable option.

At the same time the telco announced it now has 100,000 customers on its wireless broadband.

Spark says the company’s significant investment in its mobile network now allows the company to change the services that it offers.

43 per cent of its customers are now on its new generation technologies, either on fibre on wirleless broadband, and that’s grown from the 37 per cent at the end of the June 2017.

Shares in Spark New Zealand (ASX:SPK) are trading 0.15 per cent higher to $3.37
