Fairfax scores partnership with Google

Fairfax (ASX:FXJ) has partnered with tech giant, Google on digital advertising and technology and product development.

The Australasian media company’s publishing business will be able to leverage off Google’s technical expertise, capability and programmatic advertising.

The company says the collaboration cements Fairfax as the global forefront of digital publishing innovation.

Google will support Fairfax to sell and market programmed advertising across Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, WAToday, Canberra Times, Brisbane Times and lifestyle properties.

The partnership will kick off in 2018 with premium ad products, key client relationships and innovative solutions.

Shares in Fairfax (ASX:FXJ) are trading 0.65 per cent lower to $0.76.
