Mineral Resources quashes allegations, newspaper to back peddle

Iron ore and lithium mining and service company, Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN) has quashed a story the Australian newspaper published about alleged hindered Roy Hill projects in the Pilbara region of WA.

The story noted that, ‘Rinehart faced a big bill for a Roy Hill overhaul’, referring to the sites crushing operations that Mineral Resources operates, but today, the paper will publish a correction notice, back peddling.

The company’s Crushing Services International (CSI) contract and other services remain and have been effective since the start of the contract.

The company’s, Roy Hill and Mineral Resources’ CSI started working together at the beginning of this year.

Shares in Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN) closed 3.41 per cent lower to $18.13
