Telecommunications company Chorus (ASX:CNU) announced changes to its executive team this morning, with Joanna Crawford confirmed as the GM of Customer Care, and Vanessa Oakley appointed the GM for Strategy and Business Operations.

Chorus CEO Kate McKenzie said she is delighted to confirm Jo Crawford’s permanent appointment after stepping into the executive role in acting capacity and shaping the company’s external regulatory policy.

She added Vanessa Oakley, who will commence in the role in early March 2018, is a seasoned senior executive who has played a large role in the company since it was demerged.

Scott Newton has resigned from Chorus and will be taking up a role in another New Zealand company, after playing a key role in setting up the company’s internal transformation.

Chorus will commence a recruitment process in the new year for the General Counsel and Company Secretary role.

Shares in Chorus (ASX:CNU) closed 0.56 per cent higher to $3.57.
