Manufacturer of cement and lime, Adelaide Brighton, (ASX:ABC) has signed a supply agreement with international construction company Lendlease (ASX:LLC) for the Northern Connector Project based in South Australia.
The total revenue from this contract is expected to be $20 million over the next two years.
The project is Federal and State government funded for $985 million and will be South Australia’s first major concrete road.
The cement producer has started the supply of concrete to the project, and will also supply cement, aggregates, sand and other quarry products.
CEO and Managing Director Martin Brydon said the supply contract will support manufacturing operations for the company as well as boost the local economy by creating jobs for small businesses.
Shares in Adelaide Brighton (ASX:ABC) closed 0.16 per cent higher to $6.29.
