Lithium and titanium miner Neometals
(ASX:NMT) is making progress with its Barrambie titanium mine project, one of the world’s highest-grade titanium deposits, with final assays received and bulk high-grade product returned from recent drilling, after drilling 20 holes in the July quarter.
Neometals announced that testing for the Neomet process is nearing completion which brings the miner closer to starting the pilot.
The company also said product has arrived in China for evaluation by its Chinese titanium processor.
A mining proposal has been lodged to cover extraction of bulk sample as part of the evaluation of the production of Direct Shipping Ore.
The company has recently appointed General Manager of Marketing and Product Development Paul Wallwork, who has 30 years of experience in the chemicals and minerals industries in sales and marketing roles.
