Sensera hires Ralph Schmitt as Chief Executive Officer

The designer and manufacturer of microsensors and micro-fabricated components, Sensera (ASX:SE1) has appointed a Nasdaq experienced Chief Executive Officer, Ralph Schmitt.

Ralph Schmitt was most recently an executive at Toshiba, where he drove revenue growth, financial performance and shareholder value.

He also echoed the same tune at Cypress Semiconductor where he developed a record as a turnaround specialist. He also held other publicly listed CEO roles including with Sipex, PLX Technology and OCZ Technology. All listed on the tech heavy US index.

He will formally start on 6 November and be introduced to shareholders on Thursday 9 November. He will be based in Boston and have a base salary of US$300,000 per annum.

Shares in Sensera (ASX:SE1) are trading flat at 36.5 cents.
