Agrichemicals company Nufarm Ltd
(ASX:NUF) says it will fight legal proceedings vigorously after law firm Slater & Gordon Ltd
(ASX:SGH) filed class action proceedings against it.
Last week, Slater & Gordon filed proceedings against the company in relation to the disclosure of its fiscal 2010 full year result and debt levels.
The applicants are said to be Nufarm shareholders who purchased shares between March 2 and August 31 last year.
The shareholders are seeking unspecified amount of damages.
For the year ended 31 July 2010, Nufarm reported a net loss of $22.7 million.
