Infigen reports increased production and revenue in Q1

Energy business Infigen (ASX:IFN) has reported a 14 per cent increase in production generated and a 16 per cent increase in production sold in the September quarter compared to the prior corresponding period.

Its revenue is up 16 per cent to 72.7 million this quarter compared to the same time last year.

Infigen is looking to diversify and expand its customer base and grow its portfolio.

In the short term, the company is targeting expansion in New South Wales and is entering the Victorian and Queensland regions of the National Electricity Market through the sale of electricity and large-scale generation certificates (LGCs).

It has energy generation capacity in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia, with further construction underway in New South Wales.

Shares in Infigen (ASX:IFN) are trading 0.34 per cent higher to 73 cents.
