Tabcorp revenue up 5.7% in Q1

Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) reported group revenue for the September quarter of $578.8 million, up 5.7 per cent on the prior corresponding period (pcp).

The gambling and entertainment company expects an OPEX to revenue ratio of approximately 23 per cent in the first half of the financial year, and is targeting an OPEX to revenue ratio of around 22.5 per cent for the full year.

Wagering and media revenues were $481.5 million, up 4.5 per cent on the pcp.

Total wagering turnover for the September quarter was $3.17 billion, a 3.5 per cent increase on the pcp. 

Tabcorp expects to target a payout ratio of 90 per cent of NPAT in its dividends.

Shares in Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) are trading 1.49 per cent higher to $4.44.
