Domino’s Pizza acquires 100% of Bain Capital shares

Domino’s Pizza (ASX:DMP) Japan has entered into a binding agreement with Bain Capital Hong Kong to purchase all of Bain’s shares in its joint venture.

The purchase price is approximately $42 million, slightly below the $46.4 million previously recorded in the company’s FY2017 report.

The purchase price will be funded from existing cash reserves and debt facilities.

The transaction will be earnings per share accretive in the 2018 financial year.

The wholly-owned company is expected to be handed over by the end of this week.

Shares in Domino’s Pizza (ASX:DMP) are trading 0.54 per cent lower to $49.50.
