Santos
(ASX:STO) has announced that Keith Spence will succeed Peter Coates who will retire as Chairman in February 2018.
Peter Coates’ resignation was announced in May this year.
Keith Spence has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and has served in senior executive positions with Woodside Petroleum and Shell.
He will remain Chairman of Base Resources but will step down from the board of Oil Search Limited.
He has previously served as Chairman of the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority Board.
Shares in Santos
(ASX:STO) are trading 0.47 per cent higher to $4.28.
