Macquarie Atlas Roads appoints new CEO

Macquarie Atlas Roads (ASX:MQA) has announced a change if its Chief Executive Officer.

Peter Trent will step down as CEO early next year after eight years in the role.

James Hooke will take on the role on the 1st of February 2018 and will work closely with Peter Trent to hand over the role.

After a period of extended leave, Peter Trent will remain in the company in a senior role.

James Hooke joined the business in New York in 2007 after working in senior positions in Australia at Fairfax Media and Bain & Company.

Shares in Macquarie Atlas Roads (ASX:MQA) are trading 0.53 per cent lower to $5.65.
