Regis’ FY2017 results show Duketon gold production growth

Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) has recorded quarterly gold production of 91,921 ounces to September after 90,428 ounces in the June quarter.

Gold production at its Duketon gold project was 2 per cent higher than the previous quarter, with a cash cost of $684 per ounce, below its annual cost guidance for FY2018.

During September 2017 quarter, Regis sold 79,437 ounces of gold at an average price of A$1,623 per ounce.

Regis announced net profit after tax of $138.2 million for FY2017, up $26.4 million or 24 per cent on the previous year.

In FY2017, Regis paid fully franked dividends of 8 cents per share taking full year FY2017 dividends to 15 cents per share.

Shares in Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) last traded 0.91 per cent higher to $3.90.
