Myer announces Garry Hounsell as new Chairman

Myer Holdings (ASX:MYR) has announced Garry Hounsell will become its new Chairman after the end of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) next month (24 November 2017).

It comes as Paul McClintock will stand down from the helm and retire after the upcoming AGM.

Incoming, Garry was appointed to the board on 19 September 2017 as Deputy Chairman and non-executive Director.

Garry has been a part of a number of successful business transformations, including at Qantas (ASX:QAN) and Treasury Wine Estates (ASX:TWE).

Shares in Myer Holdings (ASX:MYR) are trading 0.34 per cent higher to 75 cents.
