Transurban Group
(ASX:TCL) says quarterly proportional toll revenue climbed 18.8 per cent to $228.3 million in the three months to 31 December 2010.
The toll road operator says the result was led by 16.3 per cent revenue growth on its largest asset, Melbourne's CityLink.
CityLink delivered its fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit toll revenue growth.
In the December quarter Transurban says records for trips were posted by five of the company’s seven operating assets, CityLink, Hills M2, Lane Cove Tunnel, M1 Eastern Distributor and Westlink M7.
CEO Chris Lynch has described the traffic and revenue results as exceptional.
Transurban Group booked a net profit of $59.6 million in the 2010 financial year.
