Conquest Mining not affected by floods

Conquest Mining (ASX:CQT) has advised it has not been affected by the floods in South Queensland. There has been no property damage.

Mining and processing at the Pajingo gold mine is continuing as per normal. There have been some delays in delivery times due to road closures, but at this stage production has not been slowed.

The Twin Hills trial mining project is progressing on schedule. Heavy vehicles have had difficulty accessing the site and some deliveries have been rescheduled.

Exploration at the Mt Carlton development has been on hold since December, as planned. Activity will recommence there in May.

For the year ended 30 June 2010, Conquest reported a net loss of $3.7 million.
