Drone technology company Department 13
(ASX:D13) announced a partnership with the University of Michigan-Dearborn to support research and development.
The partnership with the university’s College of Engineering and Computer Science aims to improve sensor capabilities of its MESMER counter drone system.
D13 will collaborate with the university to develop additional capabilities, including enhancing sensor equipment and solutions to be incorporated into the MESMER product.
The system which currently uses radio frequency sensor technology to detect and identify drones will be enhanced with the new direction-finding sensor technology.
Research and development upgrades to the MESMER system will now be accelerated at no cost.

(ASX:D13) are trading flat at $0.10.
