Synlait exports to China continue with CFDA tick

Synlait (ASX:SM1) has received registration, so it can continue to export The a2 Milk Company’s (ASX:A2M) infant formula, into China.

It comes as the dairy processing company received China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) approval to import products to China.

All manufactures of infant formula require registration with the CFDA.

The company underwent the certification assessment, which involved packaging changes for labeling and branding.

It follows, the a2 Milk Company’s acquisition of 8.2 per cent of Synlait.

Shares in Synlait (ASX:SM1) closed 4.06 per cent higher to $5.38.
