Sheffield Resources (ASX:SFX) secures a second binding off-take agreement for the future sale of premium zircon from its Thunderbird Mineral Sands project in Western Australia.

The agreement was signed with India’s largest ceramic raw materials supplier Sukaso Ceracolors Ceramics.

The deal is based on a minimum annual supply of 12,000 tonnes of premium zircon, representing about 24 per cent of the estimated total volume of premium zircon to be produced from stage 1 of the project.

Total off-take under binding agreement for Thunderbird premium zircon now stands at more than one third of forecast stage 1 production.

Thunderbird premium zircon pricing will be based on the $US dollar market price negotiated on a quarterly basis.

Shares in Sheffield Resources (ASX:SFX) last traded up 5.66 per cent to 56 cents per share.
