Sheffield Resources Limited
(ASX:SFX) has announced the Federal Court has dismissed an appeal related to a decision made by the national native title tribunal earlier in the year.
The appeal had been lodged by the Mount Jowlaenga Polygon group, and was in relation to Sheffield's Thunderbird Mineral Sands project in Western Australia.
The court’s decision means the determination by the tribunal stands, granting the mining lease at Thunderbird.
The company has indicated it received overwhelming support from the local region and is looking forward to advancing Thunderbird to unlock benefits and opportunities for its stakeholders.
Shares in Sheffield Resources
(ASX:SFX) last traded flat at 53 cents.
