NEXTDC takeover offer lapses

NEXTDC Limited (ASX:NXT) has announced its Asia Pacific Data Centre Group (ASX:AJD) takeover offer has lapsed.

The company’s unconditional all-cash offer of $1.87 per security lapsed at 7pm on Friday.

NEXTDC had achieved a 29.2 per cent interest in the Data Centre’s securities.

Australia’s leading independent data centre operator has formerly requested that two of the company’s nominees be appointed as directors on the board of APDC.

The board is currently weighing a rival bid of $1.95 per security from 360 Capital.

Shares in Asia Pacific Data Centre Group (ASX:AJD) are trading down 0.76% to $1.95.
