Melbourne IT CFO to depart, FO steps up

Melbourne IT (ASX:MLB) has announced its chief financial officer, Stuart Bland has resigned for personal reasons and will leave the company in September 2017.

The domain name registration company has appointed Fraser Bearsley as his replacement, to take the seat from 1 October 2017.

Fraser has been with the group since November 2016 as Group Financial Controller.

The company says outgoing, Stuart Bland has been a valuable member of the team and made a considerable contribution to the group in his short time as CFO. He also helped with the acquisition of WME and the associated capital raising.

Shares in Melbourne IT (ASX:MLB) closed 1.01 per cent lower yesterday to $2.94.
