QBE Insurance Group
(ASX:QBE) has announced Patrick Regan will replace current Group CEO John Neal as of 1 January 2018, who is stepping down after 5 years in the role.
Mr Regan joined QBE in 2014, and is the current CEO of QBE’s Australian and New Zealand Operations.
Prior to this he held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer.
During Neal’s tenure, the QBE business has positioned itself as a global franchise, claiming a spot in the top 20 global insurers and reinsurers.
Regan has indicated his first priority will be to backfill his existing role.
Shares in QBE Insurance Group
(ASX:QBE) last traded 0.59 per cent higher at $10.24.
