Eagle Health deal to fight Diabetes and rising obesity in China

Eagle Health Care (ASX:EHH) has signed a deal during BRICS 2017 conference to focus on affordable nutrition in China and Africa

The natural health care company inked the heads of agreement with AMKA Products in Xiamen to immediately focus on products that support Type 2 Diabetes sufferers and a healthy vending machine program.

Their long-term collaboration will source supplements from AMKA and Australia and make them more affordable and accessible to consumers.

The company says in 2018 there will be over 120 million Chinese residents suffering from Type 2 Diabetes, while obesity in the ageing population is alarmingly on the rise.

Shares in Eagle Health Care (ASX:EHH) are trading flat at $0.38.
