TPI Enterprises
(ASX:TPI) has entered a new poppy straw supply agreement with the United Kingdom, its second European contract.
The only Australian owned poppy processor in Australia producing Narcotic Raw Material (NRM) for the international pharmaceutical says the deal will add to its volume, as well as diversifying its supply line.
The UK supply agreement will provide TPI with 230 tonnes of poppy straw this calendar year, a minimum of 1500 tonnes in 2018, and up to 2500 tonnes in 2019.
TPI has also reported their Hungarian supply arrangements are proving effective with 360 tonnes of Hungarian straw arriving at TPI’s Melbourne facility.
