Cann Group
(ASX:CAN) has partnered with a medicinal cannabis portal, to help streamline prescribing and dispensing the drug in Australia.
The company focused on developing and suppling medicinal cannabis, inked the deal with Medicinal Cannabis Medicines Portal (MCMP).
The portal is a collaboration with prescribers, pharmacists, sponsors and manufactures and aims to help patients access medical cannabis treatment in line with the state based legislation.
From 12 September, prescribers and pharmicists will be able to register for the system and in October health professional will be able to give patients access to medical cannabis via the TGA’s special access scheme.

(ASX:CAN) closed 1.3 per cent higher yesterday to $1.15.
