Super Retail Group profit up 25 per cent

Super Retail Group Limited (ASX:SUL) has announced a normalized net profit after tax of $135.8M, up 25 per cent on the prior year.

EBIT also rose, coming in at $207.3M, up 18.3 per cent, while revenue grew 1.8 per cent to $2.46B.

There was solid growth across all of Super Retail’s divisions, with the Leisure segment delivering the strongest contribution, up 36.6 per cent.

The sales performance of Super Retail’s outdoor retail business BCF strengthened over the year, as a new brand campaign and revised promotional strategies helped it reassert itself as the market leader in the sector.

The company has announced a final dividend of 25 cents, bringing the full year payout to 46.5 cents.
